Track 02
Diversity & Inclusion in Organizations

Indian Institute of Technology Madras

 Elon University North Carolina

Although today, diversity management is on the business and political agendas for most nations, our knowledge of diversity management, inclusive policies and practices is still emergent. With the greater acknowledgment from industry and academia that diversity, inclusion & equality cannot be treated uniformly across contexts - cultures and countries, it becomes necessary to further comparative perspectives towards comprehensive knowledge and practice. As organizations navigate through diversity and inclusion challenges, we encourage papers dealing with, but not limited to, the following themes:

a) Advances in scholarship

b) Practices & policy development

c) Impact, outcomes & implications to key stakeholders.

Beyond generic diversity, we welcome papers focusing on practices/policies on a specific diversity dimensions such as caste, class, disability, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. Papers can be scholarly reviews, conceptual, opinion-based, theoretical and /or empirically driven, utilizing either primary or secondary data. Papers must present opportunities to engage critically, developmentally, interactively and generate a meaningful dialogue.
